Last week I showed how to setup your own static webhost with three servers. This is a neat setup that could probably support hundreds to low thousands of websites. However, we don’t really know what’s going on with those servers.
This is going to be a technical post about setting up your own three-server instance of MarkdownSite. I’m going to be setting up a development network on mds-dev.com. I want a network as close as possible to MarkdownSite’s normal network, complete with being on the Public Internet and handling SSL traffic. If you want to join in, you could set up a network for yourself too!
If one counts the launch of something as when they first show Hacker News, MarkdownSite is a week old as I write this.
